About
Andy Pink
Andy Pink is Assistant Professor of General Education at a small liberal arts community college in South Boston. He is also the editor-in-chief of the small independent press, Bleakswan Publications, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Andy teaches critical theory and cultural studies, and in the fall semester he coaches the men's track team and in the spring he divides his time between global entrepeneurial projects and local organic housekeeping. Yet, he manages to spend all year on the road in his triple-wide 100% Made in the USA Toyota Prius. Traveling across the United States of America, Andy checks in with his fans on his Apple IIsi and updates his fact sheet with Michael Wiliams, Michael Williams and Andy Pink's $chizoid Fact Sheet. World renowned, Andy gives talks and takes questions at colleges and universities across North America (he does not fly). A ne'er do well Red Sox fan, Andy also makes time for the occasional bloody mary and the constant Newport menthol. He collects eyeglasses and pens, but he spends most of his time writing — town to town, internationally — when not keeping up with household responsibilities. He plays keyboard, both classical and pop, recreationally. The members of his family consider him "good looking" but not "hot." He lives at home in Boston, Massachusetts with his desk, two bookshelves, twin XL mattress, and four children, Su-Chen, Yousef-ki, Zuri-el, and Barbara. When asked about his children, Andy replied, "They are quite a handful!" Barbara has cerebral palsy.
