this is the real live jockstrap of bill buckner, the first baseman for the boston red sox in the mid-late 80s, and notoriously the first baseman in the infamous game six of the '86 world series against the new york mets when the line drive down the 1st base line — a 'routine ground ball' — in the 9th went through the wickets of buckner's legs into deep right field scoring the winning run for the mets who went on to win game 7 and the series against the red sox. i was a ball boy for the series, in '86, and stole buckner's jockstrap from game 6 from the sox locker room — believe me, a valuable item, i could make into the tens of grands on ebay for this item. i will never tell, but even today you can catch a whiff not of jizz but of — you guessed it — piss. he was — nervous. i had his wife, belinda, autograph it for me after his death. never once jerked into it. 1986.
