Chromebook Disaster

andy pink, virtually unable to write on this cpl chromebook: the scrolling is all microsoft retarded, it's hard to hold, the keys are light and unresponsive, the screen sucks, and i don't understand its fear and shame, other than the usual intimidation, height, and sophistication. my macbook computer screen freaked out and the contraption is at the apple store for a week, happily on applecare+.

The writing for Hallucinations of Desire is now closed, i wrote a "Concluding Unscientific Postscript" (inspired by kierkegaard) and it will not be published on the fact sheet. i may post on the fact sheet till the thing goes to press - or until rich comes out of his hellish closet that i could endure with him if he so wanted, so the temperature on the fact sheet will be moderated from hereon out. i'll be writing mostly about theory and politics, and may edit this for Hallucinations of Desire, and may not.

For rich: i will have a j.crew style guide photoshoot for you on february 1st on the fact sheet, when the diet ends, i will no longer diet after febrary 1st, you will have to take me or leave me at that body. i'll also be on archer and grindr if it comes to that. but dude, it will be your choice, you'll have to make the move, i'm not coming back to the scene of the trauma (rape) at 1369, so you'll just have to manage to come to me: hangout, chat, walk, possibly make out, disney world or dollywood or six flags (these are all basically closed now). universal is a possibility but if we're going to drive to orlando then it might be best to just give up give in give head and go to disney world. feel free to visit the website, or, when i get my laptop back, check out my thinning face over the camera. messing around with my tv is kind of moot, i leave it on but i never watch it, i'll miss your clever graphics.

mcgowan: i am reading a book - almost completed - by todd mcgowan, it has high accolades on the back cover that would never make it to any of my books: zizek, i recall. the book is okay, but it's highly repetitive, which i appreciate, since the books in my series are also repetitive. i would say Halluncinations of Desire is not all that repetitive - text about patrick and, more recently, about rich, are kind of repetitive, but i always like to say that some things are worth repeating (what i write).

McGowan's book makes a variety of different claims about capital, one of which is that general nonproductivity (the lumpenproletariat, the homeless) are actually conditions of capital, that the system requires a certain level of inertia in order to work: namely, to reign in the overproduction that is so rampant now. my riposte to mcgowan would be that overproduction is really key to the revolution, we need overproduction, we need excess, we need remainder, we need everything for a society of each according to his need and each according to his ability (free consumption and free production). i actually think mcgowan spends too much time in the book on economics (which is albeit one of my interests) - the really more important issue is subjectivity and sociality: preparing the world and its individuals for the entire dissolution of their own private property, including the ownership of ourselves and others. i've done that in a lot of my work: "pervert-schizoid-woman" works in that direction with the (repetitive) outline of the different psychical structures as discovered by psychoanalysis. and i still maintain that the pervert is the figure best situated to inherit the revolution and the earth. He's our guy.

Using a chromebook is like trying to enjoy yourself by shoving a thumbtack up your ass.
